INSURANCE POLICY TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Installed with mobile application “KNIGHTFOX” developed by COPPERSEEDS TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD will have the free Mobile Insurance protection for the registered Mobile.App should be activated within 3 days from the mobile/Tablet bill date.

NEW MOBILE HANDSET /TABLET
TABLETS WITHOUT SIM CONNECTIVITY INSURANCE IS LIMITED TO ACCIDENTAL PHYSICAL DAMAGE ONLY.
SUM INSURED: COST OF EQUIPMENT ONLY AS PER PURCHASE INVOICE.
CASHLESS FACILITY: SUBJECTED TO AVAILABILITY OF SERVICE CENTER AUTHORISED BY COMPANY AND LIMITED TO COMPANY APPROVED CLAIMS ONLY.

* After 15days of activation all customers will be provided with INSURANCE POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SCHEDULE containing policy number, this is a mandatory document for insurance claim process and need to be collected from shop.

  • Knightfox activated Handset is covered against Theft, Accidental Damage, Liquid damage.
  • Each and every claim of mobile/Tablet is subject to a compulsory excess amount of 5% or Rs 500 whichever is higher.
  • Claim is payable based on depreciation of 5% per month from the date of purchase.
  • Claim approval amount based on present market value of the handset.
  • Claims will be paid based on the ID proof and bank details of customer.
  • Policy will be for 364 days from the day of purchase of the Gadget.
  • For Total Loss Claims Salvage needs to be surrendered to Copperseeds Technologies Pvt Ltd to submit to insurance company.
  • The decision of the claim will rest solely with the insurance company.
  • Documents required for claim registration may vary as per the requirement from the insurance company.Customer is liable to produce any additional claim related document on .
  • All claim intimation should be done within 48 hours of the incident.Claim Document should be submitted within 14 days from claim intimation date. if there is a delay, reason for delay need to be submitted and should be accepted by insurance company for further claim process.   • If incident is related to any sort of motor accident FIR/GD entry is mandatory.
  • Theft, Total Loss Claims and Refund claims will be settled by Insurance company directly.
  • For Replacement of Handset, Insurance company decides the settlement amount based on IRDA regulations.
  • For Replacement handset claims and Total loss claims cashless feature is not available.
  • Cashless claims cannot be processed if the spare parts are not available.
  • This free insurance policy can be cancelled by insurance company by giving 7 days’ notice to customer following Government rules and IRDA (Insurance Regulatory
  • Any manufacturer service or replacement resulting in change of IMEI need to be reported to Insurance company immediately for updating insurance policy. Any claim registered before updating the IMEI to Insurance company will be rejected.

INSURANCE PROTECTION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR BELOW CASES

  • Any activation after 3 days of mobile purchase date.
  • Any mismatch in information of mobile or customer data compared to policy acknowledgement schedule.
  • Claim intimations done after 48 hours of the incident (Cannot be resubmitted).
  • For misplaced or lost mobile.
  • Damage caused by non-approved alterations /modifications to the manufacturer’s specification without the written consent of the insurer.
  • Any damage caused as a result of improper usage, negligence, transit /transportation and misuse.
  • For reception/transmission problems resulting from external causes.
  • For Video/audio accessories, plugs, battery, sim trays, memory card tray, connecting cords, remote control, cartridges, styles, attachments, cables and other consumables.
  • For data/hardware corruption arising due to virus infection.
  • Where the serial number/IMEI number of the set has been tampered or removed.
  • Any damage arising from the usage of wrong power supply, voltage, corrosion, rust or stains, or any problem with the supply of electricity.
  • Any item which has been used for commercial or rental purposes.
  • For recall from manufacturer.
  • Claims arising out of the failure in following manufacturer’s instructions.
  • If any Claim Intimation request raised after the repair.
  • For cosmetic damage including but not limited to damage to paint work or dents or scratches.
  • No cover for unauthorized repairs by self or any party not authorized by Copperseeds.
  • Loss or damage to recording media, software or data, software defects or software generated problems.
  • For any item which did not have manufacturer’s warranty at the time of purchase.
  • Theft claims for tablets PCs without SIM connectivity.
  • Any accidental loss damage and/or liability sustained or incurred outside the geographical area of India. Development Authority) regulations.
